Butch is gone at 69.  The engine of the Allman Brothers is done.  It was a good run.  Smiley

Thanks for the post Henry. I hadn't heard the news yet. So sad to see all of our heroes getting old and dying off. Butch was the "meat and potatoes" and Jaimoe was the spice, those 2 could really put the sticks to the skins! Time to drag out Fillmore East. RIP Butch.

Reports now are suicide, gunshot, possibly financial related. So sad.
