Hey Donnie, you still have all those bikes? That's a nice collection of stuff! All top notch except that Decware junk (hahaha, could not help it, ok Wink you know I'm kidding).

Bring that collection of guns down to the Hornfest......we'll teach you how to shoot them Wink

I just got a Henry .22. 100% American made. Very smooth, seems to shoot pretty damn good.

My "carry gun" is a Kel Tec PMR30...yea, I know a .22 magnum is not a "real" bullet but it does hold 30 of them and weighs nothing....about the same with 30 rounds in it as a loaded magazine for my old XD 45!!

The "fun guns" are S&W 460 mag. They'll shoot .45 Colt, 454 Casull, and 460 mag. I hand load all three....my "midrange" load is 250 grains at 1600fps. I load 300 grain bullets to about 1800. That is the limits on the handloads.....factory load is 200 grain at 2300fps out the XVR. And yes, I have clocked them at 2360!

I leave 250 grains at 900 fps loads in the guns....anything more fired without ear protection will damage your hearing due to the porting. A single factory load will destroy your hearing permanently if you do not have on muffs. This is not an exaggeration. It makes a 357 sound like a cap gun. Not kidding.

Trail Boss powder is GREAT....fills a 460 case and gives 900-1000 fps....no recoil, and it will not destroy your ears, but will probably still hurt them. The ports on the things are very effective at controlling recoil but the blast is insane.

Helen and I rode the back roads today.....she's getting good at going stupid slow around the yard. She seems to have excellent balance.

My "problem" is that my backlog of work is so great that even on Sat. or Sun. I feel guilty for not working on getting stuff out. Even a 45 minute ride just before dark on Sat. makes me feel guilty. On the other hand, it's the work that allows the rides, so I ain't complaining, just commenting Smiley

Happy trails and straight shooting to you all Wink

Ed, shut up PLEASE!
Females DO have better balance, so let´s gang up and not tell.
Imagine the hallowed Scottish Six Days Trial becoming a female kaffeeklatsch and us mere XY genes mortals begging for alms instead of fighting for medals...no.

Pit

P.S. Give Helen the usual hug from me, can do?
