Hey Pit, I realized I had highjacked the thread!
Nope, nothing like that. Pulled exhaust, piston and cylinder look ok. Bottom end. No money to fix her and no time if I had money! I'll open her up at the end of the summer and see what happened. Basically I rode her 25 miles following Helen through the woods on a hundred degree day. I seldom got out of first. Never into 4th. She did not puke coolant and I had no reason to think she was hot. She had the heart attack  when I pulled into the lot. I'll not know until I can afford to fix her...don't want to open her up until then. GI GI does not mind...she likes the attention. Smiley

Bottom end is sad news indeed. I´ll keep fingers crossed and hope for the best. Poor sick Bunny.
Had that only once, when the rotor got loose and jammed the crankshaft - but that was an army surplus Maico we had bought for 50 Deutschmarks (some $20 back then).
