It's been confirmed in lab tests that plants grow faster when there is more carbon dioxide in the air.  I've read that in 2007.

So, some tree hugging environmentalists are trying to reduce carbon dioxide?  WTF?   Shocked Roll Eyes

Hi Ed; I love you like a brother as well, but I am not sure who drank the 'kool aid' here.

Keep in mind., I don't listen to the American Kool Aid News, but to several other international news from all around the world.

But in the end I think we just have to agree to disagree.
Trump administration pulling out of Paris Accord was not because US wants to raise or lower the global temperature (we cannot, even if we try to) but it's because of the agreements proposed is bogus as explained by Ed.  They (Paris Accord) want to siphon money off of US and that has been the main goal of this Climate Change scam formerly known as Global Warming.  Globe warms and cools naturally and has been doing so even before humans existed.  And no, the hurricanes have not increased in numbers or the intensity since the 50's.  It used to be more severe.  1998 was the warmest year in recent history, not 2015 or 2016.

Why is it a scam?  Here is why, I'm sure you've heard of 97% of scientists agree that the warming of global temperature will result in catastrophe.  That 97% turned out to be 97% of 1/3 of those scientists they surveyed (2000 or so).  So, it's 32% of scientists surveyed that agreed to a question that was vaguely worded.

You can look those up if you don't believe me.

How can anyone fall for this?

The depth of audiophoolery runs very deep.  You'll be shocked if you ever get to see even the halfway point.

I finally drove my riding mower near the entrance to his burrow and hooked one end of metal dryer duct to the exhaust and the other end down the hole.
Did it work?

I would start a flame war with Ed but I agree with him on almost everything, so there isn't any topic to argue.

Sure there is.  Almost everything means not everything, so there it is.

Interesting timing of this article about Mar's weather.  https://www.yahoo.com/tech/mars-rover-just-sent-back-data-scientists-completely-234039889.html

"So, a theory arose that perhaps Mars’ atmosphere was so thick with carbon dioxide that the planet was able to remain warm enough to support liquid water, thanks to a greenhouse effect. So with that theory in flux, the Curiosity rover set out to confirm it by sampling bedrock from an ancient lake, assuming it would find ample carbonate materials, thereby supporting the greenhouse warming theory. Well, it didn’t."

That carbon dioxide being the culprit for greenhouse warming theory...  Cry

Wow.  Shocked  You are right, Ed, it is a religion to them.  I've exchanged words with some of them online and noticed that the facts don't matter to them, only what they believe is what counts.

These socialists, also known as alarmists, won't stop pursuing this as there is high amount of money to be had.  Yes, these socialists are very money hungry people.  Hypocrites, to say the least.  Roll Eyes

Yeah, well, I have friends who are liberal and their posts on social media make me want to ask, "Where have you been for last 8 years?".  Basically, now the sky is falling, according to them.  They've been drinking the socialist utopian Kool-aid mixed by the main stream media.  They are unhinged.

Thank GOD they are finally gone.
Never know...  Given the age of Bernie Sanders and the lack of viable contenders for next election, they may try to revive the Klintons.  BTW, I didn't see her name on Obama's pardon list.  The plot gets thicker...  Cool
